I am committed to a client-centered approach in my practice, and want to help my clients achieve their goals. Before I started my own company in 2009, I invested five years as the in-house designer and estimator for a custom design-build remodeling company in Bradenton. This work gave me the opportunity to stay close to the construction process, form personal relationships with clients, and take on responsibilities outside of the traditional practice of architecture. My internship provided great opportunities to design and administer larger scale projects, both public and private. I have also worked in construction, assisting a variety of trades.
I serve on the Board of Directors of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the United States Green Building Council, and was honored with the Branch Volunteer of the Year award for 2010. I also served as Chairman on Sarasota County’s Development Services Advisory Committee in 2012.
I earned my Master of Architecture degree from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1998. I earned my Bachelor of Design of Architecture from the University of Florida in 1994, graduating with Honors and a Certificate in Environmental Studies.
